We all are really conscious about our physical health and fitness in modern time. We all think about our physical health and work on it frequently. We take help from experts and hit the gym , follow diet plans ,do exercises on daily bases to have a fit and healthy good looking body. But , are we forgetting about something important ? Maybe we are!!! The way we take care of our physical health , do we give the same effort for our mental health?! In todays article , we are going to share some amazing ways to keep your mental health fit.


Mental health is a big part of our total health. If our mind is not sound enough then we can't enjoy a healthy life . A healthy mind is the first condition to live a healthy sound life. Nowadays most of the people suffer from mental health problems . OCD , depression, anxiety etc. are some of the common problem almost everyone suffer from. It's because of our lack of knowledge about mental health . young people are suffering from those mental health issues more. it's really hard for people who suffer from mental sickness. But , if we get a little attentive towards our mental health, then we can easily enjoy a sound mind. And guess what! it doesn't even take much. By doing some things in regular bases we can keep our mind fit . so , lets dig in :



1. Meditation : Meditation is the best thing you can do to help your brain. It helps our mind to focus , and it also relax our nervous system. Doing meditation regularly can help your brain to function well and improve concentration power and also the power of mind .So, get up early in the morning and meditate at least for 15 minutes. Do that everyday and your brain will thank you later.

2. Mind exercise : Doing mind exercise is a good practice to improve brain functioning . Do something that you regularly do but in a different ways, like- brushing your teeth with your left hand once a week or try to write with your left hand if you're righty and with rights hand if you're lefty. It will improve your brain functioning power by connecting new nerves in your brain. Do something that challenge your brain . You can also play brain games (like-Sudoku) to improve your brain function.

3. Drink more water : 60% of our body is of water. Our brain also contain a lot of water . So , to boost your mental health drink plenty of water . Because , lack of water can cause many major problems , for both body and mind. So , drink more water to keep your brain hydrated. 

4. Check your mental health : keep track of your mental health. If you suffer from any mental problem, don't hesitate to go to a psychiatrists . Take help from experts . And take treatment if needed. 

5. Stop using too much phone and social media: Too much phone and social media can drag your energy and stop your brain from performing well. So , stop using too much phone and social media. Social media is a big addiction which kills our time and also damage our brain. So try to limit your use of phone and social media too. Don't use phone right after waking up and before going to bed . lessen your screen time. 

6. Enough sleep: Sleep is a very essential for our brain to work properly. If you lack sleep , it may cause to several brain problems ,like -fatigue . Our brain process information and also regain energy to work while we sleep. Sleep at least 8 hours . take short naps in between . It helps your brain to boost up and work effectively.

7. Eat healthy: Food is very important for our body and mind .Eat more vegetable and fruits to get enough vitamins and minerals to keep your body and brain fit. Eat nuts to improve your brain .

8. Read more and do problem solving: Reading is a best exercise for our brain . Read everyday , even if it's little. Reading more can keep our brain fit. Solve problems. problem solving is a good way to boost your brain.

9. Do basic exercise : Basic exercise is also needed to improve our mental health. Doing exercise can help increase our blood circulation . So oxygen in our body and brain will increase and our brain function will improve .

10. enjoy nature : nature is full of blessings. So , whenever you get time , spend some quality time in nature. Take a break from your busy life and enjoy the nature . It will help to freshen up your mind.


11.Avoid smoking and too much alcohol : Smocking and drinking is equally bad for our body and mind. Too much alcohol and smoke can damage out nerves system. It will destroy brain functioning power and damage brain cells eventually. So try to quite or limit smoking and drinking alcohol

12. Stop overthinking : Overthinking will do nothing but harm to you brain. It doesn’t give you anything but drains your energy. Too much overthinking can lead to serious mental illness. So, stop living in the past and grow. It will keep you happy.
